Under Center Draw Latches

Under center latches function in the same manner as most other latches; there is lever that when pushed to the closed position pulls the latch end in. This then generates tension on the keeper. With an under center latch the pin the latch arm rotates on, is under the pin that the lever rotates on. With this design the latch lever covers the latch and keeper when it is closed. This can be a great feature when the keeper needs to be covered or there is limited space on one side of the latch. The latch also has a nice sleek look being that all of the components are covered by the latch cover.
