Quarter Turn Latches & Locks
Quarter turn latches engage and disengage their keeper with just a quarter turn of a cam. Many types of quarter turn latches are available; however, they all function similarly. The keys or tools required to unlock them come in a wide variety of shapes, which helps to reduce tampering by unauthorized individuals.
Each quarter turn latch made by Sierra Pacific Engineering and Products comes with an integrated O-ring that creates a water-resistant seal. Types of Quarter Turn Latches
Some of the many quarter turn latch designs available from SPEP are slotted arrow, hex, recessed hex, thumb turn, 7 mm square, 8 mm square, key lockable, padlockable, L handle, double bit and triangular. Housings and plugs are made of black or chrome-plated die-cast zinc, stainless steel, or black thermoplastic.
