What Are Draw Latches?
We proudly provide a wide range of secure, long-lasting draw latches for almost any application. Draw latches work by pulling both sides of the latch together during the closing action, ensuring a tight seal, holding the two surfaces securely closed. If the closure uses a gasket between the door and the frame, a draw latch serves to compress the gasket and create a strong seal that keeps out dust and water.
Pull Down Latches, Pull Over Latches, Over Center Latches, & More
SPEP offers draw latches of any type, material, and size. Our over center latches, which have the latch arm extend over the pin where the lever rotates, are ideal for preventing accidental openings and commonly used in electronic or HVAC enclosures. Our center latches use the latch lever to cover both the latch and keeper when closed, providing a sleek appearance and conserving space. We also offer rubber pull latches for a semi-flexible option that tolerates high vibration, as well as twist latches, pull down latches, thermoplastic draw latches, and adjustable draw latches with a ball catch.
