High-Quality Torque Hinge Manufacturing
Friction hinges work similarly to other hinges with one key difference: the rotating action of the hinge is subject to a constant level of internal friction, allowing it to open smoothly and remain in a set position when released. Also called constant torque hinges, they operate, on a small scale, similarly to the hinge in a clamshell laptop and are highly effective for doors or enclosures of all sizes that need to hold position when opened.
Our friction hinges are ideal for a variety of industrial applications including hatches, lids, covers, doors, and other enclosures, and we offer hinges in a variety of sizes, axial load strengths, and radial tensile load strengths required for any door.
Custom Manufactured Torque and Friction Hinges
As with all our products, we offer friction hinges in a range of materials and finishes. Our torque hinges come in black plastic, white plastic, aluminum, injection-molded POM, and PA (nylon), and we use stainless steel internal components for durability and stability.
