Paddle Handles

Designed to provide an aerodynamic, recessed surface, paddle handles consist of an inset pan with a flip-out handle for actuating the latch. Paddle handles are extremely useful for crates and cases, electronic enclosures, as well as truck and trailer and RV use.

SPEP produces three varieties of paddle handles: junior, standard, and two-point standard. The junior size is useful in smaller applications, while bigger doors often use standard or two-point standard paddle handles. Some varieties of paddle handles are even equipped with an optional release which allows the handle to be opened from the inside as well and can be a safety requirement in some applications.

We also offer paddle handles with a sliding flat bolt, a standard shaped 30-degree bolt, or a rotating cam with optional rod guide. SPEP paddle handles are available in multiple mounting options, such as mounting holes, a mounting bracket with lock nut, and threaded studs with mounting fasteners. We even offer a variety of paddle handle accessories, including rod guides with set screws, locks, inside releases, strike plates, and PORON gaskets for the pans.

SPEP paddles handles are produced in stainless steel with polished, zinc-plated or brushed finishes, as well as black powder coated finish or electrogalvanized finish, which is better for paining. We also carry plastic paddle handles in black. Most SPEP paddle handles come in both locking and non-locking versions.
